I was in the hospital during most of middle school, so it's been a long time since I got to be in an event like this too.

I've never been able to participate in a Sports Festival before, so I'm really excited! I just can't decide which events I want to be in.

We'll probably end up having to do rock-paper-scissors or a raffle to choose who gets to be in the really popular events! I can't wait!

But there aren't very many people on the committee this year, apparently. I'm a little disappointed.

Really? That's kind of surprising. It sounds fun, so I figured there would be quite a few people interested in joining.

A lot of students here are fairly dedicated when it comes to their studies or club activities. I think that may be part of the reason why so few of them get excited about school events.

Our school has the credit-based course too, so there are a lot of students doing things outside of school as well, like you used to.

I'm the only one in my class who's on the committee. I wish someone else to join me too though...
